DESCRIPTION:About the Webinar:\nRegister Today\nCommerce is partnering with the Thurston Regional Planning Council and the Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC) to bring you workshops that support jurisdictions with periodic updates due in 2025, as required under RCW 36.70A.130. This housing workshop will cover:\n\nExpanded housing checklists\nRecent code changes for housing\nSupportive housing types code changes (HB 1220)\nADUs (HB 1337)\nMiddle housing (HB 1110)\nStrategies to encourage more affordable housing (re: HB 1220)\nCase studies from local governments\n\nEach workshop in the series will feature a different periodic update topic in-depth.
