SMC’s staff specialize in providing full service contract planning to towns and cities. Emily is also a hearing examiner with Olbrechts and Associates. Emily has been a planning director inside and outside city halls in Washington since 2004 and a hearing examiner in dozens of Washington cities and counties since 2006. She’s written just about every type of plan, code, staff report and land use decision possible. Emily has served on the PAW and APA Boards and is a frequent presenter for many agencies and venues. She served on the faculty of Clemson University’s City and Regional Planning Master’s in City and Regional Planniing Program and was the PAW Education Chair for about a decade. Educating the next generation of planners is her passion.\n
