Presenting Well: Universal Design for Inclusive & Accessible Presentations

About the Event:

Presenting Well teaches learners how to use universal design for inclusive and accessible presentations. This session provides a framework to proactively make facilities, resources, content, and instruction welcoming and accessible to everyone. Universal Design means that rather than designing for the average user, you design for people with a broad range of characteristics such as native language, gender, race, ethnic background, age, sexual orientation, learning style, neurodiversity, and ability. Think about the characteristics that may be present in your audience. Attendees may have different learning styles, language proficiency, understanding culturally specific references, and may have difficulty seeing, hearing, moving, speaking, and/or understanding.

Cost: PAW Member – $30 | Non-Member – $40 | Student – FREE
