About the Opportunity
This senior-level Project Manager position within the Facility Professional Services (FPS) division serves as the principal project manager and client advocate serving client agencies in the Spokane region.  This position will manage construction projects for specific state facilities and institutions with multiple buildings within the Engineering & Architectural Services (EAS) Program. In this role, you will coordinate and manage all design and construction of public works projects to meet client requirements at those facilities.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic project manager with a working knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of architectural and engineering design, with emphasis on planning and design of public buildings and facilities. You have a strong understanding of program, project management, and construction delivery principles and practices. Your ability to adapt easily to changing business environments, needs, and work conditions is crucial. Equally important are your strong communication skills and the ability to develop and build relationships with a broad client base.

Although this is a hybrid opportunity, the successful incumbent must reside within Washington state and be located within a radius of no more than approximately 70 miles from Spokane, Washington. The Project Manager will need to visit client sites at least bi-weekly in person.  In addition, Project Managers may provide support to client agencies in the event of a facilities-related emergency; due to this, the Project Manager should be able to be on-site within a reasonable time to address any emergencies.
